Emergency Management

• Designed, developed, and delivered emergency management consulting services that included: strategic planning, meeting coordination and facilitation, risk assessment, emergency operations planning, gap analysis, continuity of operations (COOP) and business continuity planning (BCP), policy and regulatory analysis, evacuation planning, recovery planning, multi-jurisdictional coordination, communication planning, after-action assessments, as well as evaluation, training and exercise programs. 

• Participated in Covid-19 response protocols for events such as the 59th Presidential Inauguration, First Amendment demonstrations, Presidential election events, and other Emergency Operations Center (EOC) activations

Emergency Medicine and Response

• Supported nurses and physicians in fulfilling treatment plans, facilitate transfers and discharges, monitor patient recovery, and perform tests and medical procedures including EKGs, blood draws, iStats, and urine drips 
• Authored and maintained training manual and education for training new technicians and ensured adherence to regulations, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives. 
• Served on Covid-19 Committee as a key member involved in the clinical, administrative, and safety discussions for Emergency Department operations.

Community Health and Service Experience

• Education Committee helps determine the monthly webinar schedule for the year and leads special projects to help members become more proficient in healthcare preparedness competencies 

• Served as a qualified expert as a critical statewide champion of the HNJ2030 initiative and provided input into the strategy, structure, and future direction of this 10-year health improvement project.

• Consulted with Congressional Members to propose legislative amendments which would reimburse doulas through Medicaid in order to improve national maternal mortality rates with cost savings. The legislation would promote the quadruple aim of healthcare to enhance the patient experience, improve population health, reduce costs, and improve the work life of health care providers.
